An alert is a component that displays a supplementary piece of information, often in the form of validation messages (success, warning, and error) or help text (info). Alerts may also display time sensitive information.
Use an alert to notify users of system statuses and for validation messages (success, warning and error). Alerts can also be used to provide help text (info) for processes, deadlines, and more.
